2nd Cassa Rurale Adamello Brenta Trophy to the winners of the Ice Climbing Speed contest.

This year’s big innovation for the speed contest is the assignation of the 2nd Cassa Rurale Adamello Brenta Trophy both for the women and the men categories. The athletes taking part in the Speed competition are 80, representing 15 nations. The favourites are the Russian climbers, who have dominated the last editions.

Through this partnership and the titling of this trophy, the Cassa Rurale Adamello Brenta committee wants to bind further its image to the sports event and to the territory itself.

This is a tangible sign of a policy that is close to sport, to the young and to all the various events in the Chiese Valley. The innovation of this year’s edition shows once more the professionalism of the organizing committee, which was asked for a miracle last year and is ready to satisfy all the requests of the UIAA and of the athletes. The efforts of the organizing committee and particularly of the volunteers have allowed the complete realization of the spectacular structure for the Speed contest: 15 m highl and entirely covered by ice. The schedule of the Speed competition is going to have the women climbing on Saturday afternoon at 6.00 p.m., followed by the men challenging.
